We recently wrapped up a project with Diversified to create and install custom signage for their new state of the art facility in Morrisville. The company moved its regional team to its new location on Perimeter Park Drive after outgrowing its previous one on Chapel Hill Road.
Diversified offers services in media delivery solutions for audiovisual, broadcast media, sports media, information technology, and other related fields. Now in its 24th year, the company operates out of 30 U.S. cities and one location in Seoul, Korea.
Regional Director Dan Lumsden, who lead the new design process, approached us to create signage that would not only enhance the new space, but also fit the company’s brand to a T. Our client had planned a special open house inviting the community to tour the facility, so having the signage looking good and installed on time was crucial. We got right to work delivering a “New Office Signage Package” to bring our client’s vision to life.
Exterior signage
A 12′ wide sign, made of plate aluminum letters, makes a big statement on the front of the building. The letters (and all signage) were painted to match specified corporate colors. Contour cut vinyl with the company’s logo and tagline are featured on the front door.

Visitors are instantly greeted with the company’s logo in the reception area. A similar design, laid out on frosted acrylic, adorns a wall in the main conference room.
(6) Room IDs
These signs might be our favorite detail, because they’re not only functional, but also conversation starters. When choosing the names for the designated spaces, our client was inspired by North Carolina’s historic beaches. For example, the main conference room is called “Cape Lookout” while a hotel office is named after Currituck Beach.
Finishing Touches
Frosted vinyl, applied to interior windows, provides a stylish sense of privacy. Brand-specific colored stripes add to the corporate aesthetic of the main interior space.
