Triangle Business Journal surprised us yet again with another article recognizing our Chief Operating Officer, John Allen Williamson, for his expertise in business and executing his business goals. We are so proud of Williamson, for having two articles recognizing his talents in less than 2 months. The article, “5 Questions with John Williamson”, asks Williamson questions about his business expertise including his best business advice, his goals for Capital Sign Solutions, his accomplishments, and more.
John Williamson states that the best business advice he has ever received helping him in his success is what is necessary in order to execute:
- Accountability
- Clear business goals
- Accurate methods to measure these goals
- The right rewards for the employees who perform
In helping the Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Mills, in expanding Capital Sign Solutions John Williamson does carry out the business advice he has received, and it may be one of the reasons of the company’s success so far. The goal Williamson has for Capital Sign Solutions that he will use these measures to execute is exceeding client’s expectations while also increasing results of growth and profit. In 5 years Williamson sees the company expanding and taking over the Southeast region as far as signage goes.
In the article John Williamson also mentions the sign that he was most impressed with producing at Capital Sign Solutions. This sign was a sign the company made for The Shops at Erwin Mill in Durham, NC. This sign was very rare and unique and the Regency Center executives relied on Capital Sign Solutions for their experienced team to design, fabricate and install this sign for them. The sign is illuminated internally with Corten Steel, giving the design an aged yet elegant look and also producing an “old vs. new” look for The Shops at Erwin Mill, a perfect sign to represent the shopping center.
